About Me

UPDATED 18/11/2018:
Hey everyone. Been a while since I was here last. I'm setting my status as "Maybe accepting guests" and I mean that very literally! Every situation is different so make sure you read my profile and send good details about your trip!

CURRENT MISSION
Finally able to receive guests! Last time I was on here it was to see how this all works. Now that I have a new apartment with some of my friends I'm trying to convince them this is fun! UPDATE: Sorry guys but I'm getting about 12-15 requests a day and having trouble answering them all. Sorry if I can't get back to you but I'm trying to answer everyone..

ABOUT ME

I am pretty much stubborn and arrogant. But atleast I can make funny voices! I used to party alot but now I guess I'm getting old and boring since I stopped drinking.

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME

- My bed is my most expensive thing I have ever bought
- I make Pasta (Learned from italian while in Tunisia!)
- I might convince you to go to the local swimming pool with me
- I need my house clean or else I will kill myself
- The American ambassador lives in my building, please don't bring bombs, guns og plans to murder the President of The United States (Atleast into the house)
- If you love "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" I will love you.

Random facts & Tips about Iceland

- Some naturepools and hot springs are literally full of shit. I'm talking infection high numbers. Beware which ones you go to!
- Iceland is about as expensive as buying water from a capitalist in the desert. But locals have tips how to eat cheap out etc..
- Wintertime can be very dangerous on the roads! Don't be stupid and rent a super cheap shitty car and get killed in the mountains or worse: Call the search & rescue squads! (Icelandic people hate hearing about tourists stuck in the mountains)
- Stay the weekend if you can. Only idiots or desperate poor people come here after Saturday and leave before Friday.
- If you drink alcohol, be sure to buy some in the duty free in Keflavík! It's sooo much cheaper (atleast 3x for spirits). Keep that in mind for tobacco also.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is a perfect way to get to know new people. Sadly modern life makes communication with strangers pretty cringeworthy but on couchsurfing it makes sense. Me and my roommates are looking for an outgoing person to spend some time with and get to know! BEWARE: Our humor is quite dark, even compared to the icelandic norm.

Interests

I am very interested in anything regarding geopolitical politics, human rights and elections. But also love to learn more about various science branches. Especially cosmology, quantum mechanics, physics, chemistry and nature. With alot more subcategories. Love to stay updated about current events.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I guess I can be quite picky but if I were to arrange the genres from best to mediocre it would be rock-hiphop-electro-symphony-jazz
I love to read but I only read non-fiction books! So anything about history, science, nature, theories, psychology etc. Don't like fiction

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered for 9 months in Tunisia in 2014.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hey I'm ready for whatever. I usually like to know what other people would like to hear and learn about me or my culture!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Me and my roommates have founded an Artist and non formal education organization and would love if to meet any young artists that are interested in performing here :)!
I am extremely honest. Especially on couchsurfing since there is absolutely no reason for me to lie about basically anything to a "stranger" :)
I usually try to get to know my couchsurfers and am both an avid talker and listener!
Also I live in a 130 square metres apartment with 3 of my friends! So there is plenty of space. Check my photos for a picture of the sofas and stuff. We are probably getting one more sofa as well :).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
