It's kind of strange to describe yourself, but in general I'd say I'm pretty relaxed, I like to laugh and enjoy my coffee :)
I'm curious about many things, I suppose, but who doesn't enjoy a good conversation without any sense to it, every now and then?
Of course there's the basics as well, I enjoy music and a few beers with open minded people as much as anybody..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For now I'll be the hosted, rather than the host, but I very much like the idea of this site. My roommate will sooner or later realize that he wants to have fun people over as well ;)

Recently I decided to quit Uni and become a carpenter instead, so now I'm on a short trip through germany to find a company that will have me! I hope to meet some locals in the cities in which I'm applying to get a better picture of the place.

Interests

I used to study electrical engineering, which means I kind of have to like physics and everything that comes with it. However, if you've ever heard about the websites Ted or futurism, you know how cool many different sciences/subjects are!

We're probably all on the same page, that spending time with yourself is great.
Nice company, some good music and maybe a beer or two are unbeatable for me though.

Also I wouldn't be on this website if traveling wasn't one of my strongest desires. Hence the quiting Uni part, carpenters can travel quite freely I suppose. Well and they build houses.... :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise, I'm into 'a bunch' of stuff, from Punk, Indie, Drum and Base, Goa, Minimal, Dubstep, some hardcore and piano, since recently Hip Hop and I probably forgot some.. ;)

There's many great movies and even more than with music I find it hard to put a label to what I like specifically. Matrix is an awesome movie for once, I liked Interstelar too, the God of Carnage, August Rush, Nicholas Nickleby.. Out of the many movies I watched, I enjoyed a lot and don't remember too many of them right now... Actually I watch loads of documentaries too..

I like books, but I'm just starting to get into reading again. Mostly it's newspapers and magazines (P.M., maybe you know it? )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From my view that would be my work&travel year in Canada.
The security I found within myself, once I had been completely isolated from what was my life before and so entirely by myself (as much as that's possible nowadays), was probably one of my greatest experiences.
Coupled with that unbelivable generosity and kindness all kinds of people are willing to give and receive!
We are a peaceful people, I believe, and in the core more alike than most would think :)
