ABOUT ME

Hey,
we are two guys from Germany, who live in Wilhelmshaven. A small town at the North Sea.

We know each other from our education as educators.

We have plans for starting a trip together in the summer of 2011, from wilhelmshaven to Madrid by plane and back to wilhelmshaven by foot, train, hitch-hiking and anything else that gets us across a few miles!! And now we`re here to make some interesting contacts, and hopefully meet loads of friendly, interesting people with whom we could have a good time and maybe a little dirty barrack where to sleep in for one or two nights. Of course we would also take that mansion of yours ;)

Now more about us.

I´m Björn, born in Essen (Germany) on the 14th of May 1990. At the moment I try to become a good educator. I work with six different Kids in the age of 11 – 17 years, who can´t live in their own families, so they have to live in a borstal. There are different reasons why they are there. Some of them have criminal records, some of them have parents who are alcoholics or have other problems. Probably something you know of, wherever you might live.

I chose this work, because I think every one of them has the right for a new and fair chance to start a good life. Because everyone is a product of his social environment and they didn´t get the chance to choose their social environment.

Wow, that´s enough about my work. More about me, I like to play soccer, to spend time with my friends, to party, to relax in the sun, listen to music (My favourite artists are the german band “Die Toten Hosen”) to meet new people and to make new experiences.

I think I am an uncomplicated happy person, who likes to have fun with his friends.

Enough about me, now sth. About Daniel

I`m Daniel, 22 years, born in Heidelberg near Mannheim and Stuttgart. In my past I habe moved around a lot and lived in various places in germany. Since 2005 I also live in Wilhelmshaven and go to school with Bjoern.

When done with my education (of course I`m also becoming an educator), my goal is to work with autistic people. Since I worked with an autistic boy in an antroposophic constitution in UK I fell in love with these very special people and their way of seeing the world.

Other than that I enjoy my freedom, but also good company - favorably warm summer nights at the bonfire, having a cold beer, listening (or playing) the guitar and chatting about god and the world.

On family-vacations in my childhood I always wanted adventure and exploring instead of sitting in a hotel doing all the tourist stuff. But of course you don`t get that when you`re 10...

So now this is the perfect opportunity. Just two guys with backpacks, a tent, good shoes and ready to conquer new lands and meeting people we would probably never even see if we stayed in a hotel ;)

Interests
