About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Loving Berlin. I moved to Berlin for a while and it's still exciting to get to know people and places.

ABOUT ME

I'm a freelancing software developer. In my free time I love to travel, be creative and meet friends.
I'm couchsurfing and hosting together with my girlfriend Tina. She's a translator (German, English, French).

PHILOSOPHY

Be open-minded. Don't plan your whole life, be open to opportunities. Care about others, don't think about yourself too much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are currently hosting, and if anyone is in the Ruhr area and wants to meet for a drink or see the hidden sights, we'd be happy to be your tour guides!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted some people, but haven't surfed ourselves so far. That's soon going to change, as we've quit our jobs and will go on a longer trip through Oceania and Asia, starting in December!
Apart from that, we have visited a few really nice house concerts in the area and I have also played squash with other members via Couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things we've experienced so far probably happened while travelling. Check out the CS "travels" section to learn more about our trips. I also write a travel blog (in German). Beyond travelling, one of the greatest things I've done was to play (bass, guitar) in a band and be on stage.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach software developing stuff mentioned on my website.
Tina can teach German, English and French and knows quite a bit about CAT tools (translation systems).

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cambodia, Denmark, France, India, Italy, Laos, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
