Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im really interested in the people and culture of the land I travel.
For me is it the best way to get a good knowledge about the country. I'm also a foodie and really keen for the best Street food spots.
Also I need to save money :)
I tried home stays or hostels but the chats and talks there are often superficial.
