About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am under a little spell of wanderlust and was planning on going to mountain bike in Moab but last minute bought a ticket to Honolulu
ABOUT ME
I like to do everything outdoors. I like to mountain bike and ski the most but lately my time has been spent working and going to school, just waiting to graduate. I am in the process of applying to the Peace Corps and hope to do that next year. I am an open person and am interested in reading and writing, but find that I like to problem solve more than anything. Being outside is how I have started to find myself hope this trip allows me some of that time.
PHILOSOPHY
I want to make this world a better place and I enjoy more than anything putting a smile on people's faces. Other than that I want to expand my ideas and my knowledge of the world. I think that through constant growth we can make this world a great place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I always am interested in being a part of the community and being a positive influence on the world. I hope that I could be a positive energy if I am welcomed into your home.
Interests
I am interested in almost everything. From the outdoors I like to camp, I committed a year to snow skiing, and I just prefer being outside to inside. I like to read but on the school side math comes to me much easier. I like cooking and enjoying good food.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read the classics, like Thoreau and James Joyce but also like to read about eastern religions and really all subjects. Reading is something I do every day and is a passion. I like most music and am not very picky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing and intriguing thing I have seen is the ruins of Monte Alban while spending ten days in Oaxaca. To see an ancient civilization that was thriving without machines; they completed huge construction projects and created a palace. But this just shows the transient nature of life which was a moving idea.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a lot more to learn than I do to teach but I am a pretty well rounded person. I have taken many engineering and math classes and one of my favorite things to discuss is philosophy and literature. I am interested in an exchange of ideas, I want to gain a knowledge of why and how other people live. I have some insights to offer and am normally always able to give helpful advice on many topics.
