ABOUT ME

I am a writer, traveler, blogger and passionate foodie. I love to learn new things and experience new places. I graduated with a degree in English, Creative Writing and Theatre, Performance, and I mostly write about the Arts and Entertainment. I have found a passion for the "Green" section of my local paper and also contribute to this column. I blog about everything from life on the road to recipes for home cooking, to being back in Door County, my hometown.

The focus of my current travels is to learn more about organic and sustainable food through WWOOF, to write about all of my experiences as I journey though this life, to have an open heart and mind, and to take in all of these journeys with wide eyes and a mouth full of questions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only participated in CS in Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia. My experiences have been wonderful. The people I meet are fantastic and generous, my experience of the country or city is that much better and more thorough. I love the program, and will continue to surf, and host when I get home.

I love almost all music, my most recent victory in books was "Gone with the Wind," I have a weakness for action movies, love Bruce Willis, enjoy "Pulp Fiction" and would watch "The Three Amigos" any day.
