I'm passionate about conflict resolution and psychology, youth organizations and creating positive change in the world. I've been lucky enough to get to travel quite a bit, and have had several great couch surfing experiences with my girlfriend (who has been hogging most of the references ;) )

I work as a junior consultant in risk and crisis management, which is a very exciting field to be in.

I love listening to people's stories and opinions, trying to really understand their perspective and where they come from. Hopefully I'll get to hear yours, too!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As a young teen, I got involved in an international youth organisation (CISV), which opened my eyes to meeting people from other cultural backgrounds than my own. I've volunteered most of my free time to the organisation since 2010, and now work mostly with leadership training and risk management.

The idea of giving of what I have to strangers really resonates with me, especially when I have been given the same things already. This goes for both volunteer work and couch surfing. "Pay it forward" is a wonderful concept, and I try to live by it and encourage others to do so, too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Tried to sneak up a volcano on Bali in the middle of the night because me and a friend didn't want to pay the 70$ price that our hotel wanted to charge us. We ended up walking along a small road where huge trucks full of stone thundered past us at crazy speeds. In the end, we got busted by the seemingly legit tour guides who charged us only 15$, and we got a great tour around the volcano, including catching the sunrise and the fog running through the valleys like water.
