About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Launching a culture of ruckus-makers and creators
ABOUT ME
I believe that everyone is a genius searching for their expression. We are all creators. An artist can make music or paintings or noodles. I love wilderness and cities. It's the suburbs in between that kill me. I'm a programmer, musician, curator. I prefer to read philosophy than watch TV. In my next life I want to be a dog. They have all the awesome human traits of connection and love and loyalty, but without the ego. I believe in travel and freelancing and in a society built on trust instead of money.
PHILOSOPHY
The lifestyle that looks like cubicles and suburbs is broken, but we're stuck with it until we can find an alternative. I believe one alternative is rooted in uncorking the creative spirit, and in connecting with the fulfillment found in community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Listening. Also sharing stories and asking questions and traveling and connecting and exploring and getting totally blown away by HOW AWESOME LIFE IS. But mostly listening.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined the CS network in 2010 and surfed in DC during that summer with a string of wonderful hosts, and then hosted others in New Haven for the next two years. Since then I've surfed in Detroit and New Orleans, and now I'm back on the road in Asia...
