About Me

I love meeting new people and learning about what makes them excited about living life. I love sharing food with others, so if you stay with me, chances are I will make you some food.

Currently, I live in Viroqua, WI with my wife and work at the Viroqua Food Co-op. In my spare time I like to garden, juggle, bike, eat cheese, and dream up different concoctions in the kitchen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and learn and share with others.

My main Couchsurfing experience was from the summer of 2009 when my friend and I took a bike trip through NW USA and back to Wisconsin. We were hosted by a variety of folks through the Couch Surfing site. Since I moved to Viroqua, WI in the fall of 2009, I have hosted a variety of surfers at my house.

I love hosting touring cyclists. If you are riding through town, I'd love to host you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the summer of 2009, I spent three months riding my bicycle from Eugene, OR to Vancouver, BC to Spokane, WA and finally to Minneapolis, MN. I rode over 3700 miles in total. To date, this is the most amazing, life changing thing that I have done. The people along the way were some of the most amazing and generous people I have met in my life.
