ABOUT ME

I was a postdoctoral researcher employed at the universities of Dresden, Cologne, Göttingen and Saarbrücken. Our group was researching the auditory organ of fruit flies, my work being the modeling and the quantitative stuff.
Later, I also worked in the modelling of nacre formation.

I am now a financial consultant with KPMG at Frankfurt.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't be too cynical. Find the correct distance to yourself. Not too far, not too close. Laughing is good, but not always. Be serious, attentive, friendly, forgiving, open, sometimes childish; learn from your mistakes.
There is only one life ahead of you. So use it.
Ah, I learned today:
Life is the same shit everywhere. You only get to choose the flavour.
