About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A mission of the mind - academic advancement -

ABOUT ME

I am highly outgoing: I love chatting about music, the arts, literature, cultures, traveling, experiences, plans. Being active is an absolute must when I travel. A quiet night in a comfortable home is great, but what I most enjoy is to head out dancing (ballroom or latin especially), or to get together with musicians and see what can come about through improvisation.

PHILOSOPHY

I've always been a big fan of the golden rule. I try as hard as I can not to piss people off and I try to be easygoing with everybody.
Live and let live. Peaceful coexistence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I live in a city that doesn't see a lot of travelers moving through, I've only been able to host a handful of surfers, but I try to keep my door open to anybody who is looking for a place (be they couchsurfers or otherwise). I've surfed a few times, and every time I am absolutely amazed at the kind of people one encounters when traveling and trusting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A handful of couches and a handful or surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Farourite artists? too many to list.
Generally though: soul, jazz, blues, passionate singer-songwriters, IDM etc etc
Books: I'll just provide my top 5 to keep it brief: Crime and PUnishment/Brothers Karamazov, Don Quixote, David Copperfield, Essays of Michel de Montaigne, Foucault's History of Madness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Western Canada and the UK
To be frank, that's not enough... it's time to kick loose and live a little bit.
I've been too centred on my life within the four walls I own. it's high time to change that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to infect others with the love i have for the arts, for music, for dance, for books and for friendly and energetic debate.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
