About Me

I'm currenlty studying whilst traveling. I generally work and stay in an area for a few months, save up enough money, and go to explore a new area. Personally, Melbourne has been my favorite place on earth, so far. Such a wonderful culture. I love to rock climb, hike, practice yoga, acroyoga, and when I'm working mindless jobs, I listen to Spanish tapes in order to further my fluency. I've traveled through Vietnman, Cambodia, Thailand, Panama, Haiti, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and plan on seeing Nepal and Europe within the next few years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been unable to host, as every time I get a place, my roommates were not OK with it. However, when I do get back to the states, I fully intend on opening up my home to people, as I fully support traveling and getting as far as you can and meeting as many people as you can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into any kind of music. I struggle to listen to country music, but any other is good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat through a VIPASSANA for ten days without speaking or making eye contact with anyone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing acro yoga with people. I'm not a professional, but I've taken many beginner courses, and practiced a lot on my own. I love how it is a non-verbal, as well as verbal test on communication and coordination between two people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, clean, practice meditation, acro yoga, apply principles of permaculture to any gardens, sustainability. One of my favorite things to do with friends is to sit around and take turns forcing each person to tell stories. I feel like everyone has something to share but not everyone does. It's surprising the amount of things many introverted peopel have to share, at times.
