My name is Britney and my husband is Jeff. I am an explorer at heart and have traveled all over the world. Bicycle touring is one of my passions, and I've cycled from Phoenix to Panama as well as across East Africa to the foot of Kilimanjaro, which I climbed. I got my B.A. in German and am currently working toward my M.B.A. I enjoy reading, writing, art and animation, business and entrepreneurship, animals, gardening and making computer games. I've traveled to more countries than I can count and have road tripped to most States in the US. My husband and I have a little homestead near the heart of Gilbert, with a garden, lots of animals, an orchard, citrus grove and duck pond. It's a pretty relaxing little oasis for visitors. We're a public safety family, so take service seriously. My husband is an amazing Chef, and we love cooking for visitors fresh from the garden, farm to table.

I have had so many wonderful, memorable experiences couchsurfing around the world. I really enjoy staying with locals, because it enhances the cultural experience. We'd like to pay it forward, and would love to be able to offer the same memorable experiences to other travelers.

I enjoy epic adventure movies, psychological thrillers, comedies and documentaries. I really liked the Gladiator, Jurassic Park, Spiderman, Batman, Wonderwoman and Silence of the Lambs. I enjoy Netflix series as well. As for music, I enjoy the 70s, 80s and movie soundtracks. I like reading non-fiction books, although I also like a good adventure story. I particularly liked "The Seven Summits", "The Alchemist", "Jane Eyre" and "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe".
