Interests

I am interested in the way the world works - in some respects: physically, morally, economically. Thus I read a lot of books about those topics, and watch the world carefully.
I enjoy reading in general, listening to music, making theater and playing football, volleyball and basketball.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will watch, listen to and read anything that captures my attention. Among these things are: Wolves In The Throne Room, Opeth, Books written by Heinrich Böll, Dostojewskij, movies by Jim Jarmush and Akira Kurosawa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When visiting a friend in South Africa I went to a football court one evening. There were a lot of people from all over the world: South Africans of course and Indians, Nigerians, French, Danish, Gambians, British and people from the Kongo, from Namibia and Spanish people. All of them wanted to play some football and so they were able to put aside all the differences they might have had otherwise. They treated each other with respect, laughed together and talked with hands and feet and smiles.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more about ethics, research on peace and particle physics.

I' d love to learn French and Spanish and Turkish.

The little I know and understand of physics and mathematics I am happy to share with anyone that is interested. Of course I' d enjoy teaching German.
