About Me
Extroverted introvert and aspiring cool person. I write things and I travel alone. If I like you enough I will talk in funny voices and sing random songs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've lived in Spain for nearly four years but I've decided to pack it all up and head back to my homeland. But before I go I've got a European Bucket List to destroy.
Before I leave I want to say I've visited all of the Comunidades Autónomas (I have 3 left). And after I'm finished working in June I'm going to travel for a month with Interrail. My (loose) itinerary is: Scotland, England, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, and Hungary.
Interests
I like: singing, eating, traveling, sushi, mexican food, traveling while eating sushi and mexican food, movies, my family, dresses, shoes, youtube videos, nail polish, old books, new books, libraries, bookstores, giraffes, owls, Hendricks gin, tarot cards, astrology, Apple products, learning, and blankets.

Music, Movies, and Books
A. Lot. Of. Things.
I studied TV/Film at university. While admittedly I didn't study very hard, I have a soft spot for indie flicks. The Way, Way Back is probably my favorite film of the last 5 years. I like movies that are sweet and endearing. Quiet stories that tug at your heartstrings and make you see the beauty of the seemingly mundane.
As far as music goes I haven't met a genre I didn't like. I often cite Counting Crows as my favorite band. And nothing beats a strong female vocalist. (Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Etta James, etc etc)
Oh, and musicals. I am a recovering theatre geek.
Books. Again, a lot. Wicked is probably my favorite novel. I am a big fan of short stories and at the risk of sounding like a snob, I have a subscription to the New Yorker. My taste in literature is much like my taste in movies: I like quiet stories where it seems like not much is happening but in fact the world is shifting beneath you.

The Camino de Santiago! Ask me about it.
