ABOUT ME

I'm a 30-year-old freelance writer who quit her 9-5 job to travel the world! I love to read, do yoga, meditate, cook, and listen to everything from folk to jazz to blues to indie rock. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted people at my apartment in Toronto, Canada. As of August 2012 I quit my job in book publishing to travel. I've surfed in Mexico City, New York City, and Southeast Asia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted Couchsurfers on my couch in Toronto, have Couchsurfed in Mexico City, and have met up randomly with CS people in both cities. I met my boyfriend via Couchsurfing!

Intereses

Música, películas y libros

Books: House of Leaves, Junot Diaz, Mordecai Richler's Barney's Version, Lucky Jim, Rivka Galchen's Atmospheric Disturbances, classics (especially Victorian literature), War and Peace (really). I especially love literature, self-help, travelogues, non-fiction, memoirs, essays, fantasy ... I'll read anything except for mysteries.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Visiting Cuba and and meeting tons of people. Moving to Mexico. Taking six weeks to travel through Central America solo. Living in Japan for three months. Convincing my boyfriend to quit his job and come travel the world with me. Meeting my boyfriend through Couchsurfing. <3
