About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of this universe as I can as long as I have the ablity to do so.

ABOUT ME

I moved to New York after 3 years of traveling in Asia, Europe, and South America. I moved to Brooklyn in January of 2012 after returning to the states. I am currently living on the Upper West Side and attending Columbia University to study Neuroscience and Psychology

PHILOSOPHY

"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."
- Chris McCandless

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I organized a monthly meeting of local and traveling CSer's in Xiamen. I also hosted a dozen or so surfers at my place in China and surfed across the USA. I now have a place in Brooklyn NY where people are welcome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met with a bunch of Xiamen couch surfers. They are a great bunch and we had a blast! I hosted about a dozen CSer's in China and surfed across the United Sates in lat 2010.
