ABOUT ME

I love experience. I like to go anywhere, try anything. Really- even bad experience is experience right?
I am a dynamo- have started 3 small businesses. Writing my dissertation in hopes of earning a PhD. Am a published author. Play hockey, rugby, kickball, am a avid downhill skier, recently joined rowing. Bowl on occasion. I grew up on a farm and know the importance of hard work. I know how to have fun doing anything, even cleaning the barn!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, and hope to do much more now that I have joined CS. I enjoy meeting people too and am very open to welcoming others for a stay!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted several wonderful visitors! Surfed some, even surfed with a large group of teens- that was fun. I have traveled on many mission trips and slept on air mattresses in many church basements.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music, anything with a good beat or strong emotion. My favorite movies are the true inspirational stories- Miracle being my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Growing up on a farm I have seen some pretty amazing things- from new births- to the miracle of life cycle in crops- and some pretty awesome weather along the way.
However- white water rafting or being on "The Price Is Right" are probably considered more awesome by most.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can pick my brain if you have questions about breaking into the world of professional speaking, starting a small business, or even if you would like some photography tips. I'm a certified ski instructor, and willing to take anyone on the slopes. I can take you fishing- but we might not catch anything. I love to bowl or skate we could do that too! My strength is in giving advice- especially to teenagers and parents of struggling teens.
I would like to learn new culture and see historical places all over the world- so maybe you can show me a few.
