About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get rid of all fears and enjoy life

ABOUT ME

I`ve been living in Geneva for almost four years now and i like this place. I love the international feeling of the city and the fact that i keep discovering new facets! I love to travel and meet new people. I am open to what others can teach me and to get their vision of things.
I love to cycle, walk around the city, dance merengue and salsa (although i'm not really good at it!) taste new wine and food, discuss books and movies.

Interests

I am interested in practising yoga and meditation, getting to know more about spirituality and relaxation. I love to bring people together and witness moments when you feel people are with each other and no longer against each other. I recently took part in a "Free hug" afternoon and loved it! I also want to organized more Flash mobs in geneva!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Luis Sepulveda's books as well as Nick Hornby, Maupassant, Eric-Emmanuelle Schmidt,.... I also like comics such as "Donjons" and adventures books such as Harry Potter. I'm always eager to hear of good books and I LOVE discussing books with people. For instance, I'm litterally on a mission to convince all my friends to read my favourite book ever: "Malevil" from Robert Merle. I don't know if it's been translated but it's a thrill! In terms of movies i really liked The Big Lebowski, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Science of Sleep, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Transpotting, the last King of Scotland, but also old french movies such as Peau d'Anne!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really know what i can teach but i know there's a TON of things i'd love to learn! Among them are:
-Music, i love to sing and i'd like to learn the guitar and maybe drums (djembe)
-Bike maintenance, i love cycling around but i'm lost when anything happens to my bike
-Music again, i want to get to know more about all sorts of music and the best way is to hear about it is from people who love it.
-Arabic, i'll resume lessons in september so any help or just discussion on this language would be great
-Art, i'm interested in getting to know more about contemporary art, i enjoy it although i don't know anything, so going to the museum more often could be nice
-So many other things!

Ok after giving it a little bit of thought I realized there's a few things I could be able to teach:
- French cooking (intéressant, n'est-ce pas?) My father's a cook so I can cook and teach you anything from crêpes to crême brulée...
- Relaxation: I am not an expert but there's a few exercices that I kind of master now and they are truly life changing!
