I'm Elmir or just Elm. I have too many interests in life and I'm pursuing too many things at once usually. But I make lists and do my best to keep up.
Currently trying to brush up on French and also learn some Dutch. Learning classical guitar. Learning how to chop and split wood 😅
Recently I moved in to a small mountain town in northern BC, a little paradise for me. Got a little home with my own little forest. Lots of work is needed to clear a trail and to also landscape the garden area that's overgrown, fix up the chicken coop.. Etc.. But it'll be worth it!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I enjoy hosting guests from far away (but then again everything outside of where I live feels like far away) and help them out. To share and to learn from each other and have fun.

Ah...too many things to list.
Books: Jules Verne, H.G Wells, H. Rider Haggard....sci-fi, fantasy, classics mostly. I like poetry, Russian literature.

Music: Prog metal and other metal haha Jazz, classic hip-hop...I'd listen to anything that has musical instruments.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Depends what you consider amazing. I enjoy little things and just wrestling with a dog is amazing to me. On a large scale I'd have to say being on an African safari in Kenya looking at a blue sky over the snowy Mt. Kilimanjaro with elephants and giraffes and lions running around in the tall grasses. Or maybe driving in the clouds through the Rockies.

My favorite amazing story now is traveling through Europe for two months visiting friends I made through Couchsurfing...also living in a car driving through Iceland during a storm for a week.
