Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly by travelling. But I am glad to help people if I can. It makes my time useful.
By the way, I now that there are some people using couchsurfing as sort of a dating platform, so maybe I should point out the fact that I am not that type. Although I love meeting people and finding friends, I am not searching that type of adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

Moby Dick by Hermann Melville is my favorite Book.
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
The Bible. Although I don´t consider myself an overly religious person, religion has helped me during hard times.
The Constitiution of the Federal Republic of Germany. The first phrase in there says "The human dignity is not to be harmed". I like that because respect is the key to a peaceful existence.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once got stuck 52 hours in a traffic jam in the Gobi desert. That was pretty memorable.

Teach, Learn, Share

Telling stories. Also, I know some cooking receipts. And I can sing the soviet national anthem. And I can teach a little of the languages I know.
