ABOUT ME

I was very much involved in couch surfing a few years back. I am now separated and live with a friend. I have a little girl who I spend a lot of time with and hold a full time job as a sales and marketing manager so my time is a little limited. So About me, well I like to travel (duh!) I am also a very keen football fan, both playing and watching! I like to see both touristy side of a place and also the local side and I love to party!! I live in Blackpool which is good mainly, but has virtually NO couchsurfers or people wanting to visit because of its close proximity to both Manchester and Liverpool!

If I am at home when you want to visit Blackpool, when possible I will allow people to surf at my house.

Already I have met alot of people I like very much and will be keeping in contact with!

Travelling of course, but I also have a burning passion for football (soccer). So where ever I go I will look to either visit a game or at least the stadiums....
I like to visit impressive buildings and enjoy the outdoors. I like to try and meet people and experience the culture of any country I may visit (the local way, rather than tourist).

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies - I like abit of anything really although comedy would be my main choice. I love the American Pie films, they just remind me of parties I have had as a youngster. Films such as Forrest Gump or The Green Mile. I love the old type Gangster films also such as Goodfellas, The Godfather & Scarface.
Books - I read alot of Mafia books as im interested in the history of it all and anything else just comes from what people have recommended.
Music - I will give anything a try although I must say I am not into the whole rap culture. Easy Listening, Rock and Roll and even abit of trance every now and then, its entirely dependant upon my mood.

There are many things I would like to learn that I dont feel I have had the opportunity to. Local knowledge is second to none but sharing stories with guests opens the mind and opportunities.
