About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel as much as possible while still trying to further my career.
ABOUT ME
I am an attorney during the day and a bartender a few nights a week. I enjoy both for very different reasons. Legal work is mentally taxing and I get a chance to analyze and research and tackle difficult problems. Bartending is fun and carefree. I have been doing it for over 8 years now and I really enjoy meeting people who sit at my bar because they want to interact with someone new with no pretenses.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would be willing to host individuals or very small groups. I have the room to accommodate more, but I also work from home so I require several hours to focus on my work.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I helped host with some old roommates and friends when they had CSers in town.
Interests
I enjoy reading, exercising, playing sports and games, or most anything I can do outside. My pallet is limited but I really like trying new foods.

Music, Movies, and Books
Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead are my two favorite books. I also enjoy philosophy, historical fiction, and I am slowly going back and trying the "classics." (Hemingway, Vonnegut, Huxley, Fitzgerald etc.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied abroad in Istanbul, Turkey while in law school and had the chance to meet some very interesting people while I was there and the several weeks I was able to travel before and after.
There is a pub in Antwerp, Belgium called "Pater's Vaetje" where you can enjoy some of the best beers in the world while sitting outside in the city square 50 meters from a gorgeous cathedral. I spent some of my favorite nights ever on their cobblestone patio.
