My name is Blagovest, I live and work in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. I am a graduated sound engineer, but I work as a shop assistant in one of the bigger clothes stores in a big trade center. When I'm not working, I spend most of my time in the gym bodybuilding and meeting with all kinds of people - local and visiting the city. I don't have any partner in life right now, but I have time to spend on different activities and make independent plans.

Here in Sofia I currently live in the Lozenetz area which is close to downtown and a metro station that can take me to various points of interest like parks, playgrounds, museums and galleries, stores, cafeterias, bars and discos. I prefer more modern places where action happens now rather than in the past. I like meeting new people and places where we can hang out and have a lough. I like to party too, but I always have to suit it with my work schedule. Alcohol and drugs are a no-no for me, since I try living healthy and gain maximum effect from the gym. A single glass of wine is forgivable sometimes :)

I like positive people, who don't give up on everyday problems, but always find a reason to smile. Living healthy and doind sports is important for me and I find it really attractive. I like people who have stories to share and jokes to tell. I am tollerant to people with different opinions and I expect you to be tollerant with mine. I am not obsessive and I'm not going to hang on your neck the whole day so I am not going to stop you from doing your daily activities by occupying your time. My expectations are simply that you are polite, clean, friendly, reliable and stay away from drugs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My dear friend who goes by the alias "Edmond Dantes" here told me all these interesting stories about this community and the unortothox way of traveling the world without being jailed in a hotel room. Marvelous idea!

I have a lot of friends from all around the country, my facebook friends list says 4999 and I'm glad I know 95% of them personaly. But I still like meeting new people and I think it's about time for me to do it outside of my country. I want to meet not only locals in the countries I visit, but also other travelers who decided to get out of their busy daylife. Visiting ancient ruins and castles is just not that fun for me like is visiting populated cities with all sorts of people and activities.

I want to try hosting too, but this will happen in some later period, since I live in a rented apartament with roommates and it is not really a comfordable place for guests, since it is a bit messy. Luckily, this will change soon when I move to a clean place of my own.
