Overview
About Me
I've been living in Dublin for over 5 years now. Honestly, I never thought I'd be living here this long but I really enjoy living here. Over those years I've discovered a lot of cool places and met some really interesting people from all over the world. It also seems like there are a lot of young people here too in my age bracket which is also nice.
I write software for a living. So yeah, that definitely makes me quite a nerd. But I think more than anything, I enjoy being creative. Creative in the true sense of the word, actually creating things (and not just 'having ideas', although I tend to have a lot of those as well). When I have time I also like to write and paint.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always enjoy meeting new and interesting people and help to others as best I can.
I hope that at least some of the people I meet through here will turn out to be good friends. Maybe that's you ! And just maybe you might turn out to be really helpful if later I decide to travel and it happens to be an area you're familiar with. You really can't beat local knowledge when travelling!
Interests
Hiking - I getting fresh air, exercise and hopefully a nice view every once in a while has always been a favourite of mine, especially if I have some time off work and the right weather for it.
Art - (Surrealist, Impressionist and Expressionist in particular) - love going to galleries
Science/Technology - Not hard to guess, given my profession. I read a great deal about things like Artificial Intelligence, Cryptocurrencies (e.g. Bitcoin), and so on.
