Overview
About Me
Im at tall New Zealander from a farming background in Hamilton. In my youth I learnt a few instruments and dabbled in some amateur theatre. I still enjoy going to a stage show when I can and I play guitar ( though not as often as I would like). I studied for four years in chemistry of which I spent a year in London on a work exchange. I loved it so much that I stayed another working in a bar. For the last four years I have been living in Melbourne, learnt how to drink good coffee, partook in great food, met some great people, furthered my career and saved up some money to continue travelling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
meeting people from your destination is the best way to get insider knowledge about a place. They know all those great little, hidden gems that you would otherwise never hear about. I've always been happy to befriend my couch to people who needed to crash because they couldn't find a hostel or just needed a couple of weeks to get their feet the ground. I've never used couch surfing before though, it's always been through friends on face book. I'm hoping this will contact me to like minded people around the world.
Interests
I like listening to music, going to the beach, travelling of course, and learning. I give myself projects to do to learn more about the world we live in. I've taught myself to cook, make bread from nothing but flour and water, make cheese and I recently started learning how I blacksmith. I would like to learn some languages too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling Europe was one of the highlights of my life. I was 21 and had only been to Australia once when I was young. I went there knowing only that I had a internship and that someone was picking me up from the airport.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you anything from gardening, to cooking and baking maybe a little about music theory and anything you want to know about life in NZ.
I'm interested in how things came to be the way they are, how people from other places live. I couldn't tell you what else because I need you to tell me what I don't know yet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company and conversation as well as anything else I've mentioned above.
