About Me

你好! Hello! 안녕하세요!
I'm 20-year-old Taiwanese girl, I study in Taipei but I live in Seoul, Korea now as an exchange student in the university here.
My major is East Asian studies, but I'm particularly interested in politics and international relations, I also plan to do my master degree on these areas next year, hopefully in the Netherlands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love to make friends from other countries who speak different languages from me. And since now I'm in Korea and learning Korean, I'd love to get to know Korean culture more. However living in the school dorm with other international students doesn't provide me with the chance to understand what's the Korean life style at home, so I hope through couchsurfing, I will get to know more about the culture and people here:)

Interests

I like all the things that a normal girl likes: shopping, dancing, watching movies, TV dramas and such; but I also like sports such as basketball and volleyball. I tried snowboard once in Korea and I fell in love with it immediately, I also plan to learn surfing this summer!!(real surfing not couch surfingXDD)
To conclude I have a very wide range of interests, it's quite hard to find something that I am totally not interested in:P

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Western pop music, K-pop, and electronic music. My current favorite singer or band is Ed Sheeran and FTIsland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not good at cooking but I can offer a Chinese or Taiwanese dish if the host wants to learn it or taste it:) (but I have to be informed in advance!)
And also I've learned guitar for a short while, and I like to sing. So if the host happens to have a guitar and if he/she really wants to listen to a Chinese song, then I can try to do it:P But I'm really not good at it and it will also be just a normal pop song, nothing too special.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Languages. My first language is Chinese and I can speak fluent English, so if the host wanna practice these two languages then I'm willing to talk a lot:D

Experiences. I don't have super cool life stories to share, but I'm now being an exchange student in Seoul, Korea, and I've also been to Australia, the US, the Netherlands and other Asian countries, so I can talk about these experiences.
One special thing about me is that I'm now being in a relationship that is both cross-cultural and long-distant, so if the host shares the similar experience or wanna know something about this kind of relationship then I'm open to share.
