Hi! My name is Blair and I’ve been a nomad for about 4 years now. I work remotely as a writer and have been bouncing around the Balkans/MENA regions mostly for the past few years! I’m traveling with my partner and we love meeting new people along the way who we can have unique experiences with—I think one of the best parts about living nomadically is the people you meet along the journey.

While I work during the weekdays, I love to spend my evenings and weekends out doing stuff! My fav thing to do in a new city is pin all the used book stores in the map and walk to them so I can see the city on the way (greattt way to find second hand shops and good food too!). When the weather allows I love to be in the sea or a river. I love the mountains for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter 😋🏔️

Im also a huuuge music fan. I’ve always tended toward indie/experimental music in all genres, especially rock, electronic, and folk. I also love some good quality house!

I’m really into art house films and tend to watch those on nights in (big film cryer lol). My more recent fav is Happy as Lazzaro. On the other end of this spectrum, my partner and I could both watch the Harry Potter films like a million times with a smile haha

I listen to a lot of different stuff but my all time favorite bands that I always go back to are Arcade Fire, STRFKR,
The Kooks, MGMT, Death Cab for Cutie…..

My all time favorite book at the moment is On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous.
