ABOUT ME
Hi! I graduated last May from the University of Vermont with a degree in Environmental Studies and Studio. For the past year, I lived and worked on an organic farm in Northern California, teaching inner-city high school students about organic farming, healthy eating, and sustainable living. I am moving to Portland, Oregon for the next adventure at the end of August. I will be an AmeriCorps service member working at a Food Bank on nutrition education for low-income families and developing programing to teach the food bank clients how to grow their own food! I am super stoked. This is what I am passionate about and so I feel that I am on exactly the right path in my life right now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have hosted a few couchsurfers and had great experiences every time. I haven't had much of an opportunity to host due to living circumstances in recent years. I haven't done much surfing myself yet, but I am eager and excited to start!
I am going to be driving across the country starting in NJ and landing in Portland, Oregon, so I am hoping to find some places to stay along the way to meet cool people and save some money!
