About Me

I am about to start my next chapter by moving to Denmark to study a Master's. I love meeting new people, sharing ideas, and trying to make the absolute most out of life.

I lived in the Netherlands whilst on exchange, but have now, sadly, returned home to complete my degree.

I have spend most of my life in and around Edinburgh and love the city. It gives me great pleasure telling people about it and its past/present/future and hope that others will share my love!

I tend not to plan anything too far in advance, so if you want to ask me if you can stay, try make it no earlier than a few weeks before you plan to arrive. I don't always stay in my flat and usually decide so without too much notice, so applications for 2/3 months in advance I will probably decline and ask that you get back to me at a later stage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find that travelling and interacting with people from different places and spaces and times is the most wonderfully exciting way to learn about not only the world, but yourself. Every person has stories to tell and lessons to teach.

Having come home from after year of living abroad and exploring fascinating new places and meeting brilliant, unique individuals I cannot help but feel trapped and like I am no longer experiencing life to the fullest and learning about new places and people. Until I can finish my degree and get the ball rolling again it made sense to me to put myself up as a host. I couchsurfed a bit around the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland and Bulgaria and only encountered the best type of people. I learned and laughed with them and now I want to share that experience with others, but with me being the tour guide...
