Very sociable and loyal, someone to trust in a crisis, very committed to my family, loves going new places and meeting people to discover the culture, enjoys the differences. Ex business man, taking some time out to learn french and indulge his passion for winter sports in Chamonix.

PHILOSOPHY

Appreciate everyone/everything for its diversity, life is one long learning experience, not a rehearsal, you can sleep when you are dead. Take every chance that comes along, I get younger every year!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting going, only found out about it from a New Zealander i gave a lift to a week or two ago, love the idea, keen to meet other surfers.

My family are the centre of my life, I also love any sport and like to keep fit and active. love to travel and find new places and meet the locals to learn about the culture. I love winter sports. Love learning anything and like to learn new skills as often as possible, have just learned to fly a helicopter, which has been on the list for a long time. a long list still ahead of me! Did telemark for first time today-great!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first (a cliche) would be the birth of my children, unsurpassed! the second a trip through Canada to Alaska with my son, the company but also the open spaces and the wildlife, the sheer vastness of the place, unspoilt. The third; South Africa, yes the scenery and the wildlife, but the whole recent history (Mandella etc) how many problems they have but against that the vitality, hope and pride of the people in creating a new nation.
