Hi. I started travelling in my early 20's & have been addicted to meeting people from all over the world ever since. I have been to enough places to know I do it for the people & the culture now more so than the sights but they are still great. I have worked & lived in a number of countries but I love living home in Australia near the beach the most. I am easy going & I like to think I have a good sense of humour. I am interested in meeting people who also like socialising with people from other parts of the world. I'd be thankful for the opportunity to crash on your couch but be blessed if you wanted to socialise too. I have a career that affords me a couple of months off every year so I keep going & meeting interesting people. I am a clean, respectful & genuine person. I am in my 40's, young at heart & have no idea what age you stop travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love seeing the world, meeting & having genuine interaction with people from all over it. I have stayed with people all over the world & had people from all over with stay with me here in Australia long before "couchsurfing" arrived. I just love the whole travel mantra.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing football in Africa by chance turned out to be one of the greatest travel experiences I have ever had. I even scored the second goal in a 3-1 victory & got mobbed by the locals. You can't plan that sort of stuff.
