Overview
About Me
I'm a 23 year old from Melbourne, Australia! I'm a qualified teacher and have got a 1 way ticket to explore England and Europe for as long as I want. Since leaving Manchester at the start of my trip I have ended up deciding I will be walking the whole of the UK!! Camping, couchsurfing, hitchhiking parts and all the while meeting amazing people in even more amazing places!
Super excited to start meeting lots of people and getting involved in whatever I can while I'm away!
I have taken off from Australia with very little knowledge about the world, about its histories, it's cultures, it's religions, but it all fascinates me so much so I want to learn and be a part of these things as much as I can.
While I'm travelling I want to see things from a raw perspective, without research and from talking to the people I meet or from maps that I look at to find out about places, so then I can see them with my own eyes and really experience everything!
I want to see rolling hills, open fields, old buildings like castles and churches, I want to rock climb as I have become infatuated with it in Australia, especially in the warmer months so I can learn to climb outdoors because I have been confined to climbing gyms!
There is plenty more but that can be done if we get to meet :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing so I can meet as many people as possible and really get involved in the local cultures of the places I stay!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw Uluru during an extremely wet season, as we walked around the outside of it there were waterfalls coming off the rock the whole trip around!
As of the other night I lost my tent in the dark and ended up sleeping under the stars on my walk from York to Whitby in the complete wild.
Was able to do my first bit of outdoor climbing in an amazing place called Symonds Yat in Wales, where for 2 days me and my friend learnt about traditional climbing and climbed some phenomenal pillars and near cliff faces where peregrine falcons nest.
