About Me

Hello everyone!

I am currently solo traveling through Spain! What an adventure. I am a little out of my comfort zone, but I like that! It is pressing me to meet new people. This is my first time traveling alone.

I am positive and friendly. And, even outside of my comfort zone, I have fun. I like the challenge of being in a new place and not knowing anyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am using couch surfer to meet awesome people from around the globe and to learn from them. I really like the social aspect of CS. Otherwise, without it, I feel like I am just a traveler passing through. I am looking for companions to share time, stories, laughs and drinks with.

Interests

I love reading and I love to learn. If you recommend a book to me I will read it.

I am also a big coffee fan and a connoisseur of cheap red wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite books- The Sun Also Rises (Ernest Hemingway) and "The Alchemist" (Paulo Coelho) are a few of my favorites because they inspired me to travel. I also love "Letters from a Stoic" by Seneca (old philosophy but incredibly readable) and "Anti Fragile" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb for more modern philosophy. But I'll read just about anything. I've read books about evolution, religion, economics and more!

Favorite Movies- "Gladiator" is probably my all time favorite. But I am a huge Star Wars fan. Also a big fan of "Catch Me If You Can".

I enjoy all sorts of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to go to Spain alone!

I also traveled around Thailand for a month with a friend of mine. It was a great experience. But, traveling alone is an entirely new experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's swap idea/thoughts and have a discussion. I want to learn about your culture and perhaps you can learn about mine.

I aim to learn from you and your experience. I really enjoy letting my mind work. I am open minded, and love discussions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you a positive energy and friendliness. I will be an explorer, a conversationalist, a drinking parent and more with my hosts. I am an open book, ready for adventures (even if those adventures involve just sitting around a table talking).

Countries I’ve Visited
