About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make my way through south america

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty chill guy. I'd like to consider myself an "armchair philosopher" in that I like to be philosophical, but rarely take myself too seriously.

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and have since moved around to NYC, San Diego, and Arizona and finally back to the bay. My biggest regret is that I didn't learn to surf when I lived in San Diego. My free time is usually filled with a wide variety of things: hiking, exploring, traveling, writing music, and best of all, eating delicious food.

I hate chain restaurants and more generally anything touristy. When I travel, I want to absorb myself into the culture, and live like the locals, rather than get trapped by fabricated comforts and facades. I've never been to Las Vegas because of this; to me, it seems like one giant tourist trap.

I try to make positive change in my surroundings and the people I am around. Every little bit helps!

PHILOSOPHY

Pack light. Be complete.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few surfers in the 4 years I've been a part of CouchSurfing, but have yet to surf on anyone's couch! I plan on correcting this soon :)
