About Me
I'm a thirty-something space-nerd, freelance writer, halfway educated, and former opiate addict. I kicked the habit 3 years ago and have been trying to put my life back together since then, with varying degrees of success. I pay the bills by writing articles and working for a massive, soul-sucking, retail corporation.
I enjoy reading, gardening, riding my roadbike, all things space and space hardware, writing short stories, and just being a good person again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My occupations do not afford me the luxury of cushy travel. Besides, who wants to travel and isolate yourself from the locals by shutting yourself up in a hotel? I love meeting new people and am eternally grateful for all the kind and generous people I have met in my lifetime and travels.

I've been read in over 100 countries. I mean... technically anyone with a Reddit account has reached the same, if not more, but that metric is from articles I've written for various companies and people.
