ABOUT ME

I just graduated from UT Dallas, I was a Child Learning and Development major with a minor in Education. In the fall I will continue my education and work towards my masters at SMU, studying gifted and talented programs. My dream is to eventually teach a 1st or 3rd grade class. I try to volunteer my time with kids as much as possible; I love children, they can always put a smile on my face! Helping children learn and grow is my life pursuit.

For years being a cheerleader was what defined me, I was a cheerleader for 15 years; I miss the competitive rush of cheerleading, however, my body does not! After finally "hanging up the pom poms" I looked for another outlet to exercise. I became very engrossed in the fitness world. I exercise daily, health and fitness are a huge part of my life. I recently became a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor. My goal is to become more of an expert about nutrition and healthy eating.

I backpacked alone the summer of 2014 and did half hostels hald couchsurfing. couchsurfing was by far the more preferred option; i loved getting to see the world's most incredible cities in a light other than the tourist cliches. It was such a learning experience to get to see different cultures and lifestyles outside of my norm.

Music: Really depends on my mood. I can go from listening to house/dance/electronic music to listening to Texas country! I love every kind of music.

I am a very laid back person, just being able to meet new people is what is most important to me!

I was a fitness instructor at my university so I am always working out and creating new workout routines. I love being able to share my health and fitness knowledge with others.
