About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world, meet and help many people and learn.

ABOUT ME

Hello! At the end of my life I want to look back and be certain I lived every moment to its fullest with my mind present to the moment. I just finished my first semester at UT Austin. In 2014 I discovered CouchSurfing when I studied abroad with a program called Semester at Sea. On S@S, I took classes aboard a ship sailing through Asia and Africa and experienced many different cultures. The program was probably the best thing I have ever done and I am so excited about future travels. After sailing we disembarked in London which led to another awesome experience backpacking through Europe. I used to live in California and I just moved to Texas. I have been traveling since a young age so you could say that exploration is ingrained within me. Traveling and learning about the world are my passions in life and I hope to continue for as long as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that all human beings deserve a chance to do what they want in life as long as they don't hurt others. Humans should have the right to love who they want and do what they want to their own body as long as others are not harmed. I believe in personal freedom and self autonomy and living life to the absolute fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed at a couple of locations while abroad in Europe and I absolutely loved it! Once I get settled in Austin I intend to experience the other side and host fellow travelers like myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Italy and in Germany with some very friendly people.

Interests

In life I love to travel, cook, read, play sports, snowboard, listen to music, watch movies, make friends, try new things and experience as much as possible. I am an avid restaurateur and love to try any new cuisines and styles of cooking. Currently studying wine tasting and craft beers (really into sours right now).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding a camel in the Sahara desert, seeing the sunset and then soaking in stars brighter than I have ever seen before was absolutely astounding. The night sky starstruck me with the vastness of the universe we live in. At a moment like that all I could do was drop my jaw...
