Overview
About Me
I am Blake, a born explorer with a deeply rooted passion for adventurous travel. I usually travel without an itinerary because I believe spontaneous travel is the best way to have an authentic experience.
I have been to 45 US states. I now live in Atlanta, Georgia after being a freelancer for the last 5 years. When I was a freelancer I worked 8-10 months per year and traveled abroad between projects!
I love my country, but a desire for experiencing new cultures and people is always in the back of my mind. I am always dreaming about my next adventure abroad, and love being thrown into new cultures. My goal is to always challenge myself to break out of my comfort zone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, foreign or domestic, which share my passion for travel and adventure. This community can be so helpful and valuable to both the host and the surfer, and I am here to do my part. If I am in a familiar place, I want to meet up and show you the area. If I am abroad I would love to meet a local.
