Overview
About Me
I'm a 43 year old, married, gay man who enjoys meeting new people, visiting new places, having new adventures, and trying new foods! I have been all over the country and would like to see even more! My husband, Clark, and I went to China and the Philippines in 2014, which was totally amazing and was my first real experience at international travel! I have also been to northern Mexico and last year had the opportunity to spend 5 glorious weeks in South America :)
Please check out my husband's profile as well before you send a couchsurfing request: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/fuegoloco06.
THE MAIN REASON THAT I AM ON COUCHSURFING IS TO MEET NEW PEOPLE AND SHARE OUR EXPERIENCES IN THIS JOURNEY THAT WE CALL "LIFE". THAT BEING SAID, WE ONLY HOST SURFERS WHO WOULD BE STAYING WITH US FOR AT LEAST 2 NIGHTS. IF YOU ARE "JUST LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO CRASH FOR THE NIGHT", PLEASE DON'T SEND ME A REQUEST BECAUSE I'LL JUST REJECT IT...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I recently got back from a trip to South America where we surfed most of the time, but we have also done our fair share of hosting other surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
I have done quite a bit of couchsurfing with my husband: San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Mexicali, Hermosillo, China, the Philippines, Colombia, Chile, Peru, and Ecuador. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their adventures! I do have one request of anyone that I accept a couchsurfing request from though. I would appreciate it if you would respond to my acceptance of your request within 24 hours. I have recently had many people that send me a request and I accept it, but then they never send me any type of correspondence after that, so I don't know if they are still planning on surfing with me or not. Thanks!
Interests
I enjoy surfing on the Internet and using social media like Facebook and Instagram. I love cooking! And eating. I enjoy sightseeing and walking around a new city, seeing the people, the traffic, vendors, listening to the sounds of a new community, it's all such an experience! I love my husband and our Welsh Corgi, Muffin, and our Chihuahua, Canela. I love to learn! A lot of my time this past year has been devoted to my Master's program, however I just finished and I don't know what to do with all of the new free time that I have! I recently got a job working for Sacramento County Adult Protective Services, but won't be starting until mid-November. In the meantime, I am trying to stay busy (but, not doing a very good job at that and am often bored out of my mind).
