About Me

After I finished compulsory education, I decided the most important thing for me was to grow up as a person, to discover everything that I can discover and to travel as much as I could. And that's basically what I've done. Backpacking and couchsurfing I've already discovered a few countries and amazing people through couchsurfing. I'm open-minded, artistic and easy-going. I started university in Spain (Law and Journalism), but I dropped uni after getting an incredible scholarship from an american university: Temple. I really don't know what to expect, but I'm moving to Philly in a month and I think this is the start of the greatest adventure of my life!
I'm a great fan of any kind of art: I really enjoy reading novels, philosophy essays... You could even say I'm addicted to books. So, if you share this passion for literature, I'm sure we'll be able to have never-ending converstions about it. Music has also an important part in my life: I sing and play piano, saxophone and guitar. I've actually thought about becoming a professional singer a few times, but it just seems too risky... at least, for now. I'm a cinema lover (any genre!) and I also love to know different cultures and traditions. I'm very open-minded and always eager to live new experiences. I'm very friendly to anyone with whom I share interests and it's pretty easy to make me laugh.

To me, luck doesn't exist: I have achieved everything I have through hard work. Keeping your eyes on the prize is what really matters. I think anything is possible if you work hard enough for it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm still pretty young and I've always lived with my mom and my siblings, so I can't really host people, but I love to meet foreigners and show them around. To me, exchanging cultures and experiences is one of the greatest pleasures of life! I've already met a few couchsurfers and it has been a wonderful experience for sure.

I've met a few couch surfers in Barcelona and some of them have become really close friends, with whom I still keep in touch. I've been hosted by couchsurfers in Italy, Mexico and France, and it has been wonderful! Couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet people and I'm very thankful for that.

Interests

I'm interested mostly in cinema, music, literature, art... I'm really into jazz and soul (I've even had a few gigs as a singer!) but I listen to almost anything. I love good movies and deep books that make you change the way you think. I love to know new people and share ideas with anyone who's willing to listen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in Australian beaches at night... It was an awesome experience and I'd like to do it again!
Travelling to Mexico on my own for a month when I was 17. Totally worth it.
