Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For all those evenings we spent on our rooftop terrace talking, drinking wine, sharing ideas and hosting people of different nationalities, cultural backgrounds, colours, religions, political views. It is always nice to accidentally meet someone again somewhere else in the world.

I ´m a fan of Game of Thrones (but that ´s not the only reason why we moved to Malta).
I love Stephen King books since I was a kid. Horrors of any kind, no commedies. Tattoos. Art. Flowers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw a volcanic eruption just above my head. Got robbed by a pirate in south Moluccas. Did a traditional sauna in a thai temple. Drank homemade planted coffee in a bamboo house in Wae Rebo (google that place, it is worth it). Erasmus in Estonia. Kayaking in Palau, Micronesia. Build a few houses in mountains in Laos. Swam in Finland in the sea in December. Handshake with a king of Bawomataluo, south Nias. Visited Taksim park demonstrations in Istanbul.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you around Malta and give you a secret tip for a coffee place with ftira for 1,50e or tell you on which beach you can swim upwards!
I can teach you how to pronounce funny czech řřř.. and do a tattoo for you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with our guests an extra room in our castle. I can throw in some coffee and maybe a little knowledge (but don’t get over excited) Winters here are super humid and cold so get ready for that - we don’t have a central heating.
