About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I've always wanted to live life and love every moment of it. Meet as many people that find me. Smile with as many people that needed it. Learn as many languages that would speak to me. And get lost as often as I found the opportunity.
ABOUT ME
I'm full of big ideas, each one more likely foolish than the one before. But nonetheless I live by the principles that I find guide me throughout life. Principles like Compassion, Consideration, Acceptance, and Surrender. I write more deeply than I speak. In fact, I'm more often playful than serious, especially once you let your guard down. I read and respond to people very well. I appreciate diversity of thought, culture, belief, body, and fun. I meditate, do yoga, play banjo, make and play with hula hoops, enjoy cooking for other people, I wash dishes in the morning as a form of meditation. All in all, I'm odd at my best moments, kind more often than not, and all together much less than you expect and all the same much more than I let on. Being vague in this sense should be normal when writing about yourself. As I like to think, I'm an open book that tends to loose interest in itself. Ask questions if yeh like, chances are I'll say more than either of us expected.
Keep living, keep loving, keep breathing, keep letting your love light shine!
PHILOSOPHY
Live Life and Love every moment of it. Live consciously. Criticize yourself before you look for faults in others. We're all in this together whether we agree or not is irrelevant because we have absolutely everything in common. Life is much to large for us to understand it all, and as much as we try to forget it, there is so much more beyond ourselves.
There is no one Philosophy or set of Principles I can say I subscribe too. I do lean towards Eastern thought more than others. Karma, Buddhism, and Consciousness.
I like to believe I live for others. I like to see everyone as a brother and sister.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in a lovely house with 3 other ladies. Well 8 actually. 4 hens and 3 domesticated ladies and one lady kitty, named Lady. Funny huh. We have chickens and gardens and sun flowers, yoga and meditation studio, and plenty of space to host folks. that's how WE participate. come live and love with us-
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In college, I often was the unofficial roommate. Not because I didn't have a place of my own or because I over stayed my welcome. But because I helped in the kitchen, straightened up the house, and was missed when I wasn't around. I'm not accustomed to being the perfect guest because I'd rather help out in any way than be served and tended to by the host in every way. Usually I'm the host, always having a friend or two staying with me if only for a night or even a week. I prefer to cook for others than just myself. It's busy work to take care of a household but I guess it's in my nature.
WWOOFing and traveling, however, has been a new experience. It was the first time I honestly was treated as the guest. I had to sit back and let others do the busy work. Being told to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea instead of washing dishes is funny to me cause I'd never come across a person that would refuse me a chance to help out around the house. Either way, I've seen and lived on both sides now. I still lean towards the hosting, but I'll reluctantly be the guest if needed.
