Hello dears,
my name is Charlie. I come from France. I have been living in Germany over the past 5 years. I was first in Berlin, then I moved to the beautiful city of Leipzig a year ago.

I have been working as a dancer over the past 6 years, and I am starting now to direct my own dance pieces. I also teach regularly, mostly Contemporary and Contact-Improvisation dances. And from time to time Argentinian Tango and Contango.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like to meet new people ! :)
Because of being independent worker I often travel alone. Which I don't like so much since I am rather a social person. I have been working in many different cities in Germany and in EU in the last years, so I now almost always know people or have friends of friends in the places that I visit. That's why I have not been using CS so often. But I am always looking forward to see what's out there and to meet other travelers and open-minded people :) And in general I like much more to discover places through the people that inhabit it and to spend time with locals in the places that have their interest and make their daily vibes, than wandering alone in touristic places with my camera :D

Interests

Dance, dance, dance... I have to say my life is quite much based on dancing... :) I love to teach dance, which I do regularly. And I love to create with dance. Over the last years I have been working as dancer-performer, and I am quite interested in questions regarding the presence on stage and the relation between the spectator and the dancer. I like to see theater performances as frame for the spectator and the performer to experience something together.

In my spare time I like to read, cook, visit art galleries and museum, dance (again... :)) Argentinian tango and capoeira. I am quite interested in philosophical literature, which as an artist I always find very inspiring.

I love musics, different kinds of them. From electro, to classical, to world music...
