About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience life in all its beauty

ABOUT ME

A happy fellow who most of the time is amazed by the gift of life. Eager to learn and to experience and someone who wouldn't mind to push his limits. Tryin' to find a solution to lead an adventuruous life and to escape from predetermined social guidelines. Not really in need of material wealth, but in search of sunrise or a sunset :). Someone who likes to hear different points of view in order to broaden his horizon. In conclusion, a happy person who tries to find his own truth and make a pleasant ride of the journey.

PHILOSOPHY

The art of staying simple is the essence of pleasure. Reduce to the essential.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm quite the movie fan. I like the escapism part of it and since i have a vivid imagination( don't know if that is the correct way to put it), i just like to immerse into the storyline.
Music: depends on the mood. But tryin' to get to know lots of different genres.
Books: Definitely 'On the Road' (Cliché but what can i say :)). Aldous Huxley 'The Island', Albert Camus (the Fall, the Rebel and the Outsider), Dostoyevski, Thoreau,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Erasmus life in Madrid (European Exchange Program)
- Road Trip through Eastern Europe with my Mexican Flatmates at that moment
- St. James Way in the north of Spain ( 750 km hikin' trip).

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting which has helped me to speak four languages more or less fluently. My native tongues are Dutch and French (national languages of Belgium, Well i forget German but i wouldn't be able to teach it). The two other languages i was talkin' about are English and Spanish.
Furthermore, i lived two years in Madrid, Spain. So I would be able to teach Spanish also. People who are interested to go deeper into History. Please wait a few more years and by then i should be able to have something interesting to say about some fields of History.
