About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be more involved in CS and meet new people

ABOUT ME

I'm finally finished with school and working as a pharmacist for the Poison Control Center in Philadelphia. I'm adventurous, curious, and friendly, and love meeting new people and visiting new places. One of my most rewarding travel experiences was when I spent 3 months in Romania volunteering in a hospital, cuddling sick and/or abandoned babies. It was such an amazing experience and I would go back in a heartbeat.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just starting to get back into the whole couchsurfing thing and am excited to start hosting surfers. Because I'm new to the whole hosting thing and because I live by myself, I'm still a little bit wary, which is why I have my status as maybe, but please don't hesitate to contact me. As long as you seem friendly enough, I'm sure we'll be able to work something out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've primarily only been a surfer and have just recently been more able to host people. I'm excited to finally give back though, because the times I've surfed have only ever been positive. In Berlin, our host was super friendly with a really good sense of humor as well as a great sense of adventure. He took me for a ride on his motorbike, which is an experience I will never ever forget. In Gdansk, our host was really nice and very intelligent and we could talk to her about a wide range of subjects. We learned so much from her. She also took us to see some of the really beautiful beaches surrounding Gdansk, and partied with us at a bar on the beach. Both experiences were absolutely priceless, and I'm so glad we decided to use couchsurfing.

Interests

I love to hike and ski and explore new places. I enjoy anything outdoors, and love being on or by the water. I like to go to the beach. I also love to go dancing, especially salsa. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family and I like to play board games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the top of a really high rock formation in Kapadokya and being able to see for miles. Riding through Berlin on the back of a motorbike with Norman at dawn and seeing the sunrise over the Reichstag.
