Energetic, semi-retired chemist/scientist. Worked for years in Cosmetic and Food Industries; lived, studied, worked in Prague (Cz), Hamburg (Germany), Notttingham (UK), Cancun (Mx), France (Provence), and now live/work in the NY Tri-state area (NJ). Traveled across USA.
Born to hospitality business in Europe, I re-invented myself "back to my roots" and gained a recognition as an internationally experienced Chef and Culinary Instructor (in private sector and as an Adjunct UNI Professor).
Traveling mostly as a couple with my husband Bill (London born Photographer and Artist).
We are both mature, quiet, clean, honest, non smokers and pet lovers. We enjoy exploring new places and cultures, meeting people, music, movies, art and good food.
We'll be respectful of you and your property (we owned a vacation property for 26 years so we relate) and we'll honor your rules.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We'd appreciate an opportunity to explore new places in the world on a budget. We'll be happy to reciprocate: my husband takes fabulous photos and I, being a chef, would love to cook a meal for you from whatever you have on hand, clean up your kitchen or help in the house with whateveryou'd need. I also love gardening, so can help in the garden (or clean a pool), etc.
