College student with dreams of traveling the world. I am interested in meeting people of all backgrounds and cultures. I believe there is much more to life than pursuing a degree, getting a job, and working for somebody for the rest of your life to pay your debt and bills. I've always been interested in traveling solo but never have the courage to step outside of my comfort zone and the funds to do so as I am still a college student. I believe college is only a mere chapter of your life and there is so much more to learn and explore. I have been surrounding myself with negative, discouraging people my entire life; I would like to change that. I love to move around to different places and I can't stand being somewhere for a long period of time as I will get depressed. That is also the reason why I have transferred 13 times throughout my academic life. I learned most of my English when I went to school in Georgia, Texas, and New York City. I have been in love one time in my life. Needless to say it was a bad decision. I plan to work for a bank after graduation for a couple years while I figure out how to pursue my long term goal. My long term career goals is to own many businesses around the world, being my own boss. I consider myself an intellectual person, but sometimes I can't seem to find the words to say. I categorize myself as both an introvert and extrovert. I would love to hike and visit new places, and I'll be a perfect acquaintance to anyone who would like to grab a drink or two. I consider myself more of a thinker, a dreamer, rather than a speaker. I tend to be more social with people when there's alcohol involved haha. I have a few good friends I've known my entire life, would like to meet more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find myself. I would like to disconnect myself from the world people expected me to live in. Sometimes our brains need to get rid of old thoughts in order to be able to create space for new ones, better ones. I want to learn about different cultures and meeting interesting people all while travelling to different places. I plan on stop spending money on materialistic things so I can save money for trips around the world because I believe money spent travelling is not money wasted.

Interests

Travelling is a first. Exploring new places and meeting new people. I like basketball, swimming(although not too well), billiards, a little gambling here and there, playing poker, hiking, biking, and partying with people I will never remember and overall just having a good time!
I think Pho is the best food in the world. I'm more than happy if someone can prove me wrong.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all genre of music. Bruno Mars, J Cole, Drake, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Avicii, and many different EDM artists. My favorite movie of all time is Pursuit of Happiness. I also like horror and mystery movies. The Wolf of Wall Street is a good movie as well. I love Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Prison Break, How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, South Park, The Great Gatsby and LOTR Trilogy. My favorite book is The Alchemist.

I will buy you a gift that I believe will interest you. I also don't mind cooking and cleaning for you, and will pay for your food when we eat out. In my free time I will clean your house, and make sure I don't leave any mess. I promise I will clean up after myself and be respectful of your properties just as long as you respect mine. If I have to pay for electricity and other things that I might use, I'd gladly pay. I am not a deep sleeper and I also don't snore.
