ABOUT ME

<3 Laughing until my stomach and face hurt so much that I choke. Looking at old photos. Eating sushi. Talking for hours with friends. Ultimate frisbee, Hats, A good pair of trainers. Decent game of volleyball. Most of all I LOVE CHEESE.

I am the class clown, and the one who is always away somewhere doing stuff?. I am interested in other peoples travelling stories and their experiences. I want to learn from them so I can make the most of the time I have to travel. Respecting and learning about other cultures is my favourite!! (after cheese)

I am a very impulsive person. If I get an idea in my head, I have to do it (NOW). It usually involves me going away from home for long periods of time. Not knowing where I will be or what I will be doing is all part of the fun and attraction.

I LOVE skiing & snowboarding and other sports (if sleeping was a sport, Id be pretty good at it).
I want to do soo many things at the one time, I can never make up my mind about which ones to do first. Work gets in the way of my social life, but it has to be done I suppose....!!!

I hope to have a better idea of what I want to do when I 'grow up' on my eventual return from my travels.

The things I dont like are:- Breathing in flys when cycling. Not being able to find my keys when Im in a hurry. Rude people. Maths. Celery.

PHILOSOPHY

Being able to experience, respect and appreciate other peoples ways of life can teach you to be a more open minded and thoughtful person.

Try to do EVERYTHING that you want to do. Your not getting any younger and you never know what might happen tomorrow. Do it while you CAN!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I message LOADS of people to arrange meeting for my future travels to SEA. I wanna surf with other members, I wanna meet them for coffee/tea/beer. I wanna travel with them and hear their stories. Although I cant offer a couch, I would still love to meet peple on their travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

People welcoming you into their homes is an amazing way to remind us that there are great, genuine people in the world. When people cant go travelling, you can learn so much about other cultures from having them visit you in your own home. It opens minds and makes the world a nicer place to be.

Music, Movies, and Books

I hardly ever remember the names of movies I watch, which annoys a lot of people, because I'll start to watch a film and realise I have actually seen it after all the fuss of choosing it. I also dont remember the names of actors and what characters names are in films. I have a mental block I think. I love 'Into the Wild' as it reminds me of the type of thing I used to imagine doing when I was at school.

I listen to all sorts I mostly like listening to Bob Marley, Bon Iver, Simon & Garfunkle, Bob Dylan, Paolo Nutini, Johnny Cash, Trance, Euphoria, The Strokes, Fleetwood Mac and the Smashing Pumpkins. The list would go on forever if i tried to name all of the music i liked. I just hit the play button and the music plays, I dont really mind what plays, but if i can tap my foot or sing along to it, then I am happy. (Metal, Death Metal & Punk make my head hurt).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning to go to the toilet in the scorpion infested out house was probably my biggest achievement.

The giant redwood forrest in Northern California....the list is endless.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to make sushi or juggle?? (badly). I love cooking, so could cook. I could tell you about my travels around the USA. Teach you Scottish words? Some people like to copy my accent, if that amuses you, then I dont mind!! It will be fun for me too!! :-)
